Hi Andrew,

Thanks for the offer.
Better get back to fully restoring my other damaged system - have two 
boot-partitions yet to fix, successfully fixed a W2KPro partition that 
M$ wouldn't even attempt to do anything with - volume has unrecoverable 
errors - [i.e. would even re-install on it without a disk-wipe] but 
doing a bit of direct directory manipulation through 5GB of that 
partition at the beginning of the drive with the old [1994] Norton 
Diskedit, allowed it to finally get re-booted, minus some installed 
bits, but now easily fixable.
