| subject: | EzyCom Structures |
Hi, Stephen! SG> For Ezycom v2.00, the structures haven't changed much, if at all, from SG> those included in the 1.48g0 package. The latest structures can't be SG> released until sometime after the next public release. Oh, that's fine-as long as I get a general idea. The real reason I asked was that a friend of mine, Mike Dillon, is rewriting Alexi/Mail (not sure if you've ever heard of it). A/M is a multi-platform, multi-OS tosser/packer/areafix/autopost/gating software and he was interested in looking at Ezy's structures. I was interested in case I wanted to write one of my own little utils or something. I write in Pascal too (I write Cheepware, my little line of BBS doors and utils). SG> The development team thanks you. :) Oh, well, thank you. :) Now that I've figured out HOW to set my message reading commands right (I was using the echo flags instead of the actual group numbers), now I can get all of my mail, heh. BTW, GoldEd works wonderfully with Ezy. SG> It never seems to end, does it. No. I'm a sucker for punishment, it seems, but now, to set up a message network, it's terribly easy... SG> I was told you were using Os2 but no matter, I'll _deal_ with Patrick SG> later. ;) I've tested it on my WinXPP (NTFS) and so far it seems to SG> work ok except I found that environment variables are case sensitive. Well, I was running OS/2, but for personal reasons, I switched back over to W2K. I have Ezy on a FAT partition because for some reason, when I tried to load up the filebases with EZYADOPT, Ezy would keep looping, filling as many empty filebase slots as it could and just hang. I'm still at a loss as to why, but it works now, so that's all I'm worried about. :) I only wish I'd discovered Ezy years ago. I have a rather bad reputation for switching software (I've run well over 20 packages), but now, thankfully, no more. :) Later, Sean --- Ezycom V2.00 01FA026A* Origin: Outpost BBS - outpostbbs.net (1:18/200) SEEN-BY: 14/1 2 300 400 34/999 120/228 123/500 226/160 229/4000 236/150 261/38 SEEN-BY: 261/100 1396 1397 1401 1404 1405 1406 1407 1409 1413 1414 275/107 SEEN-BY: 280/1027 633/260 262 267 270 285 690/734 712/848 751/321 2222/700 SEEN-BY: 2320/111 200 2800/18 @PATH: 18/200 140/1 106/2000 123/500 261/38 633/260 267 |
