Of course. When the contractor doesn't pay anymore the owner ( = domain 
creator and reseller) doesn't ditch the domain name but offers it a 
price to anyone willing to pay.
So you could purchase yourself http://www.os2warp.be if you would want 
to buy it. That would be of course without content (= web pages).

These webpages are (and were) residing at the Mensys server. Me thinks
question now is whether Jonas Buys is willing to sell the copyrights or not
and whether Mensys is willing to pay for it (or not).
