I have just setup a 2 station network using NT 4.0 server and NT 4.0 Wk
station. The WS 4.0 is dual booting win95 and NT WS 4.0. Win 95 has all the
apps I run in win 95.
NT WKS 4.0 :
To run the MS word (I have MS Office 97) from NTWS I click start, run, browse
and locate winword.exe and then execute. (Now it is in RUN history).
When it starts to execute, I get:
"The Tahoma font is not present. For best results please exit Word and run
the setup program to install."
I click and get:
"The windows Registry has reported that one or more required files are
damaged or missing. To correct this problem run the Word setup program."
I click and Word 97 loads and is ready for me to start editing.
What is happenning. Am I safe ignoring that error ?
NT Win 95:
When I run the same program it finds the Tahoma font and everything is fine.
