I have the sqame trouble on my CS33. The porthole surrounds, in boats
built later, were changed to include a drainage channel on each side. I
am not sure how well that works. But it is quite an expense changing
them all. I have tinkered with the idea of drilling a couple of channels
through them but have never quite dared to do it.
Of course, you could always sail on alternative ears. That should drain
'em!
