I put cardboard egg cartons paper towel rolls,etc in the nest box for them
to rip up. Well, Oliver has chewed it all down to powder.

Exactly!!! If they ever did lay eggs, I would faint.
I was reading an article on DYH's in the AIE library. The
article was about the author putting together her first pair of
amazons. Her description of the male sounds just like Oliver.
If I hear of anyone with moustache parakeets or a male, I will let you
know. Not a very common type of bird is it?
Everyone is laying eggs here except of the amazons.
