All the MIT languages, Pascal, Fortran, Modula-2, ad infinitum, convert to
Ansi C. Then preprocess the C, then compile. Long way home. But I like to
be able to look at the C output to see what it's really doing sometimes.
I'm trying to see how easily threads and pipes can be used now.
