JG> Well, it may suit your needs, but it didn't suit mine well enough
JG> to justify the disk space.

Well under 8 megs, including all docs and examples.

JG> I like learning new programming
JG> languages, but I usually don't have the time. As I recall,
JG> it was on the old 125-meg hard drive before I switched to this
JG> 540. It may still be on the backup tape.

You may want to get a later version, I understand that it went
thru some drastic revisions.

JG> Besides which, my
JG> computer did all the work, I just watched it.

I went to bed.

JG> BTW, this system did NOT compile to C, it used the GCC back-
JG> end with a new front-end.

The version I have DOES generate C source and does compile the
final executable from that source.

JG> This is entirely different from
JG> F2C (for FORTRAN) and P2C (for Pascal and, I have been
JG> told, Modula-2.)

Don't know, haven't seen those yet.

JG> I despise compilers that convert from one
JG> higher level language to another.

I don't get goose bumps over that aspect of it either, but, as I say,
you can't beat the price.
