I want to generate REP files for each QWK file so I know which QWK file contains the original message being replied to.

I believe QWK readers pack replies in the order that messages are written, and the import is done in the order in which a REP is uploaded combined with the order that individual messages within the REP is packed. So the chronology of messages that Synchronet imports depends entirely on what the end user does.

It is more an inconvenience (than a problem) for my specific use case. Something that I observed in Synchronet and decided to whinge about it. Rob Swindell then said nobody ever asked for that feature, and I more or less said why not ?
