However, my main comment is: that a simply defined and 'super basic'
(explanatory philosophical/terminological) background to of our evolution
and to how we are and behave appears nearly always to be overlooked in these
(kinds) of discussions.

It is as simple as that there obviously has to exist a fundamental interplay
between Opportunity type and "Adversity type" aspects of the
Evolutionary Pressure Totality (=relevant even to 'What Is going on' as far
as fundamental physics is concerned).

I don't expect hardly anyone (who happens to read the above comment) to
follow-through on the quiver of curiosity they might have about finding out
what I mean.

This not the least because of how very likely people are to
*pre-consciously* detect (as a result of phylogenetically aquired and
ontogenetically inbuilt functural tendencies combined with
personal-environmental conditioning) the detestable *but true*
insight-potentials -- and in a sense the science and philosophy
"finalizing"
force, of what logically follows.

That is, "follows", at least on paper, and rationally, by way of 'EPT
logic' --- referring to a relentlessly complementary realistic analysis and
pragmatic and poignant 'umbrella-conceptual' application of (scientifically)
established principles and theories.
