Grand Forks BC Canada, The community has finally after many years recieved 
permission to grow industrial quality hemp. The growing site is only 300 
hectares but its a start.
By the way  it was the self professed dope smoking mayor of Grand Forks that 
was arressted at the border.
Seems he makes the trip (about 50 miles) a couple of times a week to shop. At 
the border he was pulled over. They asked him if he smoked mary he asked what 
happened if he said yes, they said they would turn him back because he was a 
user, they also told him that if he said no theyd charge himm for entering 
the country illegally. The mayor realizing he wasn't going to get in said 
that he'd return to Canada. At that point they aressted him for aiding and 
abetting in trafficing. he got released on bail and has to go to court in 
spokane on september. the story broke in all the bc papers and the tv 
yesterday. The laughable thing is that they are suggesting he aided in 
traffiking because he consumed a product that must have been imported across 
a usa border. The mayor proudly announced he would never smoke anything that 
wasn't grown locally.
Are we looking at the potential of millions of Canadians being arressted 
under this stupid law???
