Richard, I have a niggling feeling that MS-DOS 6.2x has a 'replace'
executable of its own.  Could you check your \DOS directory, please?  (If
it's an .Exe then we're sweet as .Com files are used first if there's
duplicate names on the PATH, depending where on the PATH they occur I guess
too.)

BTW, the search batch is ready for testing.  I just have one minor
(non-critical) change to make to it.  Give me the word and I'll post it
here.
