Excerpt from Tuesday's business news:

 Geek Squad was a regional in-home outfit in Minneapolis which
 installed and serviced computers and periphals.  Best Buy
 bought out the company and expanded it nationwide to all
 350 of its stores.

 Now that Geek Squad is part of the company's national brand,
 it has begun defending the word "geek" as a trademark.  Last
 month the firm filed suit in federal court in Boston against
 a small Massachusetts tech-services company, charging that
 Geek Housecalls was infringing on Best Buy's trademark.
