Rod, at 12:38 on Jun 14 1996, you wrote to Bill Grimsley... BG> Symbol rate = baud bps. RS> Symbol rate DOES NOT equal baud, thats why the symbol rate was introduced. Are you sure about that? I was under the impression that the symbol rate is essentially the same as baud, insofar as it refers to the number of state changes per second. Sadly, I can find no specific reference to it in the Courier manual, but I'm sure I read that somewhere quite recently.
