-> That part with all the options? I don't like that that much.. of
-> course it's fun to change your guy/girl and all, but what I don't
-> like, is that you are limited, I would of loved to be able to like,
-> use more then two skills on a guy... :(
But then if we could use three, people would want four, and then
on and on. :) I think two is perfect since it basically allows you to
have dual-class characters without penalty. Triple-class characters are
a little too much in my opinion. Add that to the Reaction, Support, and
Move customizable abilities and the characters are perfectly
customizable without it getting too complex or frustrating. Even with
having five ways to customize my characters I still at times agonize
over which abilities to give which characters at which point in time.
-> Tactics Ogre? Well, from what I saw.. It looks exactly like FFT and
-> VandalHearts... Which brings me to a point.. I see FFT as Square's
-> way to saying to Konami -> Your RPG was good.. but here's what Square
-> can do! :)..
...And I applaud it. FFT is simply incredible, especially
considering that it has come out on the heels of FF7. It just proved to
me that Square puts quality into every title when they could have simply
churned out a quick and dirty fight game just to reap a quick buck off
of FF's popularity. Instead they put out a very polished, very addictive
strategy RPG that fully captures the integrity and atmosphere of FF.
As for as Tactics Ogre goes, if it is in the style of FFT and
Vandal Hearts I am on Cloud 9! That would be so great! And it might even
convince me to give Ogre Battle another try...nah... :)
-> one gets sucked up in a black hole or somethin) while the other..
-> well, you'll see (unless you already saw).. It's the same thing...
-> then you see him again, and it's like! Wow.. he's still alive...
Thanks for trying to spoil the game for me. :( For your
information I am still on Chapter One since I've restarted the game
three times now because I keep getting these ideas on how to develop the
best characters and you can really only do that before we're too deep
into the game.
The first time I went with the standard party, but the standard
party came with characters that either had high Bravery or Faith, so it
was difficult to change them between the Fighter and Magic User classes,
so I restarted;
The second time I dismissed four of the characters right at the
beginning of the game and hired some that had a high and balanced
Bravery/Faith rating. Much better! Characters who could equally fight
and cast magic. But...I noticed disparities in the effects of magic
which I found out was caused by bad zodiac alignments...so back to the
drawing board...
This third group is the best for me. Four males, four females.
High, well balanced Bravery and Faith, and of compatible alignment with
each other - my perfect team! Five members to form my "A-team" to go
into battle with, and the extra three to form my "B-team" to send out on
propositions. Now it's time to play for real! :)
Okay, okay, so am I addicted to this game or what?!?
