I'm trialing the ICS Secure Server, using WU-FTPD(it resumes aborted
transfers) as the ftp server and bind for a DNS. I use TVFS to create a drive
(X:) and attach the BBS file areas and CD's I want to directories on X: under
/pub. I haven't converted Files.bbs to html though. I'll have a look at
Colins' prog if I can find it. In the HTTPD.CNF file I added:
"Pass /pub/* X:\pub\*" to give access to the filebase.

Can help here, need to know what will be running to answer the phone. If this
line will be ONLY ppp have a look at T-SERVE. Freqable here as tserve11.zip.

Let me know when you find out!:)

I can help you here too.

Now if you could help me with this one!! :)

Very much my problem too:)
I still have a Binkleyterm running and that answers the phone, does it's own
thing, or passes off to the BBS, PPP or FAX as needs be. If a caller is PPP
bink starts PPP and does PAP authentication, the user is then welcome to
access the web pages/fileareas etc through a web browser, ftp files or telnet
to the BBS proper through VMODEM. The three dos online games(LORD, PLANETS
and BRE) I have on the BBS all work across telnet.
If you are interested I can collect my cfg's together and crash them to you.
Maybe you or others here could help me with some things I'd like to know!
Like how do I get the user info out of PAP authentication so I can log who
has been on and for how long? At the moment the best I can do in that regard
so far is to use killppp if they exceed 1 hour. Not so hot if you want to
give different access to different users.
Doug
PS.. Just realized the date of your post. You may have it all sorted by now
and be able to help me! How far have you got?
