Probably.  There were a few things that needed to be done and no one
I could depend on to do them for me. :-\

I enjoy the company of animals too much for my own good.  They don't
live as long as we do. :-\

You might want to get a second pet before that happens.  I think it
would make the loss less difficult to endure.

I tend to prefer "mutts" in both cats and dogs.  They have fewer genetic
weaknesses and seem to live longer because of that fact.  The cat that I
gave to my brother was a "tabby" and the one that died recently was also
a "tabby" (catspeak for mutt).

btw: How are you getting along with your live Linux CD lately?
