I've been commuting 140 miles from city to city and back again for weeks
at a time and a bit distracted in the process.

A neighbor's cat that would come over to visit with me when I was outside
(day or night) has passed away just last night at the age of 16.  I feel
very old/tired - I will miss the company. :-\
