I don't remember anyone here saying that they went together.  However, in my 
completely untrained opinion some of the behavior of an AD(H)D kid is similar 
to to the popular notion of autism: they get so wrapped up in themselves that 
they relate to other people as though they were furniture or toys.
I suspect it is just a similarity of behavior.
