Such viruses don't exist.  They're an urban myth ... like email viruses
and alligators living in the New York sewers,
As Rick said, the DIR command _reads_ the disk.  It can _read_ virus
code into the DOS buffer where some antivirus programs will detect it
and warn you that it's there ... but there is no way this code can
escape and "do" anything.
