My personal favourite out of all King's work is The Stand. I find the story a 
good basis of humanity and it's struggle with good and evil.

IT is a pretty good novel and (mini-series was kind of bad) and it is a darn 
good read but I perfer the Stand because it is quite indept and is the only 
novel in which I really care about the characters and what had happened to 
them. :)
