Are we having fun yet Jasen? May 31 08:35 04, Jasen Betts wrote to Paul Westell: JB> "roofing silicone" seems like a suitable product to do that. (neutral cure, UV resiustant) I've _always_ been a big fan of silicone and advocate its liberal application for all manner of use. It can however be overdone. I once hung a large pair of very heavy swinging doors in the shipping room of a large department store. There was no backing in the walls to anchor the jambs to, so rather than re-build, the boss had us use a couple of tubes of silicone on the bare drywall. As I was just an apprentice at the time I didn't press my objections. Red would have been proud, and I often wonder if they've had to fix them since. ... It could be worse ...
