I had gotten the impression that Point Barrow was the most northerly
point on the North American continent, on the mainland at least,
after excluding the Canadian arctic islands and of course Greenland.
It turns out that it's not ...
Zenith Point, a cape on the Murchison Promontory, on the tip of the
Boothia Peninsula in Nunavut holds that honor by a margin of 40
miles. The cape is located 160 miles north of the hamlet of Taloyoak
that Roslind commutes to on occasion.
Point Barrow remains of course the most northerly point in the USA,
