The 3COM Upgrade Wizard requires Windows, the standalone SDL.EXE does not.  
Both options will be available for upgrading the 3Com Courier to V.90.  
Sportsters (now called "The U.S. Robotics Modem") can *only* be upgraded to 
V.90 by use of the Upgrade Wizard.
