Nope, my son complains of insomnia but in reality he falls asleep as soon as

The only advise I have for you is caution: it's recently been discovered that
there is a "clock" in the eyes which is independent of any in the brain, and
no one knows what effect if any melatonin might have on it.
Whacky thought: does your son find it possible to sleep when Ritalin is in
his body? Perhaps an SR at bedtime would work?
