Sorry, no such thing as blockwrite.  Try again.  write() is
what is used in Pascal, just the same as fwrite() is what is
used in C [not write()].  To compete with a non-Pascal 
function I would need to use a non-C function.  And that is no
longer comparing Pascal with C, but something-else with 
something-else-again.  You haven't even got an entry to the
