Typicaly from an opening on the Front of the case drawing that Cooler Outside air over the MB and Cards keeping them cool before being drawn into the Power Supply cooling it. > typically air goes in theough the floppy drive > slot and fills said drive with dust. :) > Jasen === ------------VERY LOW TECH TIP---------------- === Since most of the machines here rarely use the floppy drive, I've taken to sticking a piece of cloth over the floppy with masking tape. Works as a cheap filter. I also do the same for the vents in the front of the box. A piece of T-shirt works fine. === Beats opening the box and vacuuming the dust inside. === WARNING: These filters should be changed every little while, as they eventually clog up. You'll see the crud that was saved from entering the box. Simply replace with a new cloth. === Cheers from Phil, Low Tech Expert --- Maximus/2 3.01* Origin: Juxtaposition BBS, Telnet:juxtaposition.dynip.com (1:167/133) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 167/133 379/1 396/45 106/2000 633/267 |
