It looks like a message from xxcopy - a check that it performs each time it
runs to test the OS version. I can imagine that because xxcopy probably
does some funky stuff and it wants to know that it's not going to mess up
your files.

My guess is that the update has slightly altered some version test. I
wonder what you see when you run 'winver' on a box with the patch, and one
without.
