In Vista if a USB stick has an autorun.inf file it will not run
automatically by default- you will receive a prompt asking if you want to
run the program specified in the autorun.inf. That probably means that many
users are only one click away from installing a virus
The default StartupType for Shell Hardware Detection in Vista is automatic.
