I think you need to run chkdsk against the H: drive. I don't know that
you will even be able to delete until then. You can either boot to
command prompt and run chkdsk h: /f:3 or put a + in the autocheck in the
config.sys. I prefer the former myself. If you do the latter then you
should see 8 stages I think it is (0-5, 7-8 I think it is 6 that doesn't
exist but I may have it mixed up and it is 5 that doesn't exist -- or I
should say I have never seen it which may be a good thing cause I don't
know what it would mean if I did). One thing though, when I have gotten
a JFS drive where it needed chkdsk it started releaseing files, most
likely they will be just the backed up ones but potentially they could
be ones already on there. I have found the latest releases of JFS from
testcase to be much more stable so far than previous versions and
haven't really run into that lately other than the odd file that got
corrupted when I had to power off the system cause it wouldn't respond
to CAD. After running chkdsk then you should be able to delete the
files. May be able to some/all of the backup before then but I hate to
do to much with the disk when it seems to be in a bad state.
