Thanks for the suggestions!  I have read about the Dempster, and also the
Dalton.  I am not certain that my current vehicle is of the proper
"configuration" for the "all-weather" roads.  I have seen some footage of
vehicles on both... the Dempster seems to be kept in better shape than the
Dalton, even though both have some disclaimers regarding sturdy tires and
plenty of spares.  :)

Most all of the folks who filmed footage of either highway seemed to be
driving 4WD or AWD vehicles.  However, in at least some of the Dempster
footage, they would pass vehicles waiting for the ferry that had about the
same ground clearance as mine... just older looking and more beat-up.  :)

I was not aware that the Dempster was completed all the way to Tuk yet.
