How much longer will America tolerate morons like Arschloch, and walt 
tonne. They stoke the flames of dehumanization, and bigotry like that 
which drove Wade Michael Page to kill? 

The cynical and deliberate baiting of ignorance, racism and Islamophobia 
by political, and bigoted players was exposed in an investigative report 
last year, "Fear Inc, The Roots of the Islamophobia Network in America," 
produced by the Center for American Progress. They identified a 
lucrative cottage industry composed of an interconnected, incestuous 
network of right-wing pseudo-scholars, policy experts, politicians and 
media pundits who have received nearly $43 million from seven funders to 
create and disseminate fear and misinformation against Muslims.

When Homeland Security director Janet Napolitano released a report in 
April 2009 identifying right-wing extremists as a threat to the country, 
conservatives howled. The general sentiment was expressed by Michelle 
Malkin, who declared the report a "piece of crap ... propaganda ... an Obama 
hit job." Jonah Goldberg complained that the DHS report failed to stick 
"to the practice of describing these groups with more specificity and 
without the catchall, ideologically loaded descriptors." Well, now we 
have learned the murderer of six people at a Wisconsin Sikh temple was a 
well-known white supremacist.

We need to be clear that racism is a working class issue. Racism 
benefits the wealthy and powerful. Racism is also a way for employers to 
attack our solidarity as workers. As long as we allow racism to exist in 
our workplaces, and our nation, we will face our enemies divided and 
weakened.

Diversity isn't bad.

A house divided against itself cannot stand.
