Yes. K56Flex and x2 require a digital (server) connection at one end of the
line and a single digital to analog conversion. In the case of x2, 3Com/USR
have ISDN TAs/modems which can also act as x2 servers. There are several
hobbyist system using Courier Imodems. For K56Flex, I have not as yet
received any information on an ISDN TA with K56Flex server capability.
