NB>>> then we rarely are actually there, and even less call for
NB>>> needing the baseboard heat....
RH>> If you were there in winter, yu would be paying big bills. I
RH>> can understand why you shut the camp down each fall.
NB>> We keep the breakers for the heat off unless we actually need
NB>> some heat, too... The first year that RJ was back from AZ, he
NB>> stayed at the camp well into November, thinking to get a job up
NB>> there... it didn't work out as well as he'd hoped, so he ended
NB>> up just coming home here... But that fall, the electric bill
NB>> was indeed much higher than usual....
RH> Was that before he had his own place?
Well before... He didn't even start building it for a year or two,
IIRC.... and he was working on it for two or three years... still not
totally finished, but he's been able to use it now for a while... :)
NB>>>>> Yup, at least the "shake" is something you put into your
NB>>>>> mouth yourself... ;)
RH>>>> Or have help if neccessary.
NB>>>> True, sometimes might need someone to steady the glass for
NB>>>> you...
RH>>> As long as you're getting nutrition,...but that can't replace
RH>>> a steak, potato and salad, with a yummy dessert. (G)
NB>>> No.... but it isn't so hard to chew... (G)
RH>> That's for sure--unless you like to chew ice. (G)
NB>> No ice in the "shake".... one just chills it in the fridge... ;)
RH> Unless it gets put near the vent in the back of the fridge. We have to
RH> watch what we put in that area as things do freeze up. I don't want
RH> frozen yogurt for breakfast and microwave thawing just doesn't work
RH> out so I always either put the yogurt on a different shelf or off to a
RH> side. Maybe it's just our fridge that does it tho.
I've had some fridges that did that... but the ones we have now don't
seem to have that problem... :) The fridge we had at camp before the
one we have now used to freeze veggies and all... some things we just
didn't refrigerate for that reason that we usually would have done at
home... had to place things like mayo very carefully... ;)
NB>> ... "At last I'm organized." he sighed and died
RH> Just when I think I've got things organised, something comes along to
RH> disorganise them.
Yup.... ;) Usually just before one finally finishes getting them
organized... ;)
