What wifi router?
My D-Link WBR-1310 has 5 RJ-45 conectors, 1 in and 4 out, In is connected
to my Cable Modem which is a COM-21.
With out the router the cable modem would conect to the network card in
the computer
Dial-up Modems use a serial port, not a network connection
