hm then it could be a system in my isp's group.
or someone with a misconfigured system just about anywhere.

yea I use 192.168.0.* in my lan. but I have seen those new dsl
modems that have the builtin firewall/router that use a 192.168.*.*
address.
I have an old nortel dsl modem that has no internal software.
well old for a dsl modem anyway 4 years.
