I liked my 48 that I got I think a couple years before that.  I like the 
pm emulator fairly well.  I now have the hp-49 after having 2 of the 
48's "disappear" on me.  I am not as fond of the key placement on it but 
it holds more keys.  I had been running the hp-49 emulator under Odin 
but it isn't displaying correctly on my system anymore.
