  Shit! Just when I reconnected BUSY detect.

  BTW, my BUSY problem *is* caused by the way your Netcomm answers the 
phone. Whatever you've been running for the last week answers after the 
ring is complete; the Netcomm picks up anywhere at all and the Sportie 
thinks the truncated ring is a BUSY signal.
