Hello All!

    Does anyone know for sure what the precedence is for the patches
    to 10.0a? They have two files there, C_A.ZIP and CH_A.ZIP, both
    of which are 5.x meg in size. I ran both of them, and they
    appear to do the same thing, with the exception that the CH_A
    file appeared to patch the help files.

    Also, I ended up having to reformat the drive in order to be rid
    of the WATCOM\SOM\DLL\SOM.DLL file in order to upgrade it. Even
    after I rem'd out all the lines poining to the SOM dir and SOM
    items, it would not let me wipe it out. I kept getting share
    errors when trying to run the patch.

    So, I reformatted the drive (had to boot from floppy, which
    should have allowed me to delete the SOM.DLL, but didn't), and
    reinstalled Watcom, then did the patches. Once using the C_A,
    and the next time using CH_A without problems. FWIW, the CH_A
    file is the only one that contained a README.A file with an
    explanation of the changes.

    BTW, You will need in excess of 49m to hold the un-archived
    patches.....
