We are very much in line when we talk about what "Zero Tolerance" means.
My point is that some places go a bit.... Overboard.
Schools, which are supposed to be teaching tolerance (among other
things) are one of top perp's in the "overboard" department kicking out
a student based on the APPEARANCE of proscribed activity with out doing
them the favor of an investigation to find out IF they were doing
something wrong.
Police... At least in my expierence... Are much more likely to
investigate and take action only when they should.
Sadly. That's not 100% either. But it's much better than schools.
(Course the police can be sued if they screw up... Not so the school in
many cases)
