NB>>> basement... I was also thinking that yours was probably made
NB>>> of different materials than ours as well and/or to different
NB>>> specifications...
RH>> Probably less insulation but don't know about the spec/materials
RH>> used. We have an attic (not full), no basement but a crawl space
RH>> instead of a slab.
NB>> The less insulation would be a factor in whether or not things
NB>> would maintain temps... no basement means that you don't have the
NB>> cooling help in summer of the ground keeping constant temp,
NB>> although the crawl space would provide some ventilation that
NB>> could help... :)
RH> We also heat with gas (electric sparker tho). Had trouble with that
RH> our first winter in the house but it was fixed the same day.
I'd not think the fuel would make that much of a difference as the
manner of delivering the heat... We have oil (also needs an electric
spark), with forced air...
RH>>>> Lydia's shakes sound much more appealing. (G) And, yes, the
RH>>>> main idea is to push nutrients that may not be consumed thru
RH>>>> other meals. Much easier to drink a "shake" than to have to
RH>>>> wrestle knife/fork/spoon/chew/plate/bowl as you get older and
RH>>>> frailer.
NB>>>> Exactly.... :)
RH>>> Better than having an IV line for nutrients tho.
NB>>> Or the PEG into the stomach.... absolutely... :)
RH>> That too. That's not eating, no matter what they call it.
NB>> Yup, at least the "shake" is something you put into your mouth
NB>> yourself... ;)
RH> Or have help if neccessary.
True, sometimes might need someone to steady the glass for you...
