CP> Contrary to the situation in other states, there is no ONE person who

Ok, I wasn't aware of that.

CP> In other words you would be shutting the door to ALL mail passing between
CP> us. I am grateful that you did not take that course of action.

That is correct. No mail would have been lost, it's just that you wouldn't
have been able to talk to me until I got a response from routed netmail as
to what you would do to fix the problem.

> The fault is you exporting it to Teddy.

CP> Are you requesting that I cease passing echos to Denise?

No, I said that out of misunderstanding of the situation. So long as you
be careful that you're not creating a dupe-loop, there isn't a problem. I
don't know how you poll me, but a check on the size of the mail you are
sending me might be of some aid, and if it's "too large", then
wait for manual input. It's no more dangerous than any other dupe loop I
suppose, it's just that that's the first time I've had it happen to me. I
am used to getting mail from just Dave, and any dupe problems are always
his system sending them to me, not the other way around.

CP> If so, does this apply to all echos or only some.

CP> If only some echos, could you please advise me of your wishes, and I will
CP> comply immediately.

No, you can ignore that until next time. Do whatever you want.

CP> Until I am advised by you to the contrary, the link to Denise in
CP> AUST_TRADING will remain severed.

I think the 2-week drought might make whoever is responsible a bit more
responsible. :-)

CP> I had chosen you as the host because of the speed of reception and reply
CP> that a Sydney host provided.

CP> I would still prefer to receive it from you, but only if you are still
CP> prepared to supply me.

I couldn't care less what you get from me, my only concern is what you send
back to me (for whatever reason). I also don't care who you pass echos on
to, my only concern is what you send back to me. Sorry if I appear to have
overreacted, it looked like you had simply decided to receive mail from two
hubs. Also, I think one of you guys did something similar in LOCUSER or
something some time ago. LOCUSER I can handle, but 180 messages in
AUST_TRADING means that I get to find out what Dave thinks of me sending
him his own mail. BFN. Paul.
