  Oh, for sure.  I read the book a few times, too.  I just don't remember
anything about the Genesis Torpedo creating a star along with the planet.  I
mean, of course it must have, but I was always a big geek about the physics,
too (had Mr. Scott's Guide to the Enterprise and everything).  I would've
thought I'd remember that.  :P
