Ray, Thanks for the complete report. My big hurdle is getting from the VACPP versions (1.3 and 1.4) to the new GCC versions (1.7 onward) without snagging on lingering artifacts and without losing too much profile information. >Copy libc05.dll and gcc322.dll to X:\MOZ173 and X:\MOZ18a4 >Copy whatever libc and gcc are appropriate for 1.60 to X:\MOZ160 >Make sure there are no libc or gcc in ?:\OS2\DLL. 10/27/03 5:13p 230785 A---- U:\LIBPATH\libc04.dll 4/14/04 4:37p 356330 A---- U:\LIBPATH\libc05.dll 11/22/99 11:45a 210916 A---- N:\OS2\DLL\LIBCM.DLL 11/22/99 11:45a 57340 A---- N:\OS2\DLL\LIBCN.DLL 11/22/99 11:45a 192386 A---- N:\OS2\DLL\LIBCS.DLL I've removed libc04 until something asks for it. I'm not sure why/when I/what implemented that one. I've moved libc05.dll to my \moz1.7 installation dir. The files in \os2\dll are native to mcp2. I just installed new 1.7.3; used it to create a new profile; xcopy'd my 1.3 profile into it; added components\ipluginw.dll; deleted compreg.dat; and hope for the best ;-} [\]grep -is moz config.sys set MOZILLA_HOME=x:\Moz_home I don't use moz mail or news; and should migrate to firefox soon.
