NB>>> Our house, thankfully, doesn't tend to get too humid inside,
NB>>> except sometimes in the dog days of late July or August...
RH>> Ours can, but it gets hotter and humider here than NY--tho July
RH>> and August can be pretty humid up there, I know.
NB>> True, and true... :) And your house is probably constructed
NB>> differently from ours as well.... :)
RH> Probably so; we're single story, might call it similar to Cape Cod
RH> style. Not ranch, more compact than that.
Ours is, as you know, two stories plus full attic and full basement... I
was also thinking that yours was probably made of different materials
than ours as well and/or to different specifications...
NB>>> hear the quotes, though, when the staff called them
NB>>> "milkshakes"... It does have somewhat the texture of a thin
NB>>> shake... ;) Lydia used to make Mommy shakes with milk and ice
NB>>> cream, though.... or put a scoop of ice cream, along with milk,
NB>>> to reconstitute her Breakfast Essentials drink for her supper...
NB>>> Anything to get more calories and nutrients into someone having
NB>>> difficulty eating enough... :)
RH>> Lydia's shakes sound much more appealing. (G) And, yes, the main
RH>> idea is to push nutrients that may not be consumed thru other
RH>> meals. Much easier to drink a "shake" than to have to wrestle
RH>> knife/fork/spoon/chew/plate/bowl as you get older and frailer.
NB>> Exactly.... :)
RH> Better than having an IV line for nutrients tho.
Or the PEG into the stomach.... absolutely... :)
