ASUS A7N8X deluxe, whose manual also says it does too. In actual 
experience though it means
ONE or the OTHER not BOTH. Confirmed situation by ASUS.

I would not recommend that board or ASUS A7V133 mb's either if planning 
on ECSv1.1

The way I figure it, I have no way of knowing if a board is bad, except 
to swap out every component card,
try  every possible combination of OS loading tricks. If I succeed then 
of course the board is good, but if not
is the board BAD or merely INCOMPATIBLE.

One way of course would be to load XP first, if it succeeds, the board 
is GOOD, but still could be incomaptible with
ECSv1.1 or even ECSv1.0

That's way I;m looking for explicit recommendations,  I've spent a lot 
of the Winter being frustrated.
