As i said, maybe it was changed later on...

I meant rm -rf /mnt actually...

Quite lethal for FAT, as it overwrites the first sectors of a partition
erasing the boot record, FAT (both copies) and the root directory. You can
still recover some files out of it but it's a big pain in the a$$. For the
more advanced filesystems (NTFS,HPFS,ext2/3,reiser,etc.) it probably won't
cause too much trouble.
