Yesterday I suggested we could expect a "snap-back" correction from this
week's sell-off. Today prices rose a bit, though nothing remarkable.
Was this it? Well, that's almost a "Did ya mean it" question isn't it?
Today volume decreased, from +25% above average yesterday when prices
fell about the same amount, to +13% above average. Investors weren't
nearly as enthusiastic about the buying today as they were selling
yesterday. But it caused my timing signal to dither, popping a Buy
signal. I'd tend to ignore this, especially under these circumstances.
Just look at the Oscillator--it's very negative.

Timing Signals: I don't use or recommend timing signals, but they're
fun to watch. If I did though, well, I might use something like this.
(Be warned!! It tends to whipsaw around signal points!)

Last Signal: BUY Date: 01/06/05 S&P: 1188
