Allow me to break in here, if you don't mind. Fidonet BBS's and
telnetablility are quite a few out there.....but first of all, in order
for you to use TELNET, you must have an internet provider / account. Do
you have this? I'm preparing to leave for college around fall of 1997,
and at that time, by goal is to have Deep Space Nine telnetable at a
certain time of the evening, but right now, I'm not very close. There
are several BBS systems that are telnetable, but do they carry the
geoworks fidonet echo. Some bbs's I know of that are telnetable:
 
bgbbs.com 
pinecliffe.com  (my support board for UltraBBS)
west alabama online, telnetable at 204.214.208.240
if I can come up with anymore..I'll let you know.
