No, not really Peter. Basically I already have the same setup. There are 
UMB's available b4 win95 takes them all for itself leaving non for 4dos 
shells which is why I get the error msg when 4dos tries use them.
BTW, if a dosbox is opened and a dos app is run in this box, then shell out 
from the app, it doesn't give an error.  It's as though 4dos isn't trying to 
use UMB's when a shell is started from another dos app.
